Join us in Slaughter, Louisiana for the 2026 Roaming Shot Precision NRL Hunter Games Fall Match. This will be a fun but challenging one-day match featuring 8 stages built around our unique range layout, including our shoot house and multiple natural-style hunting scenarios. Shooters can expect a variety of animal-themed targets, creative props, and practical positional shooting designed to test your ability to find, range, and engage targets under time.
This match is open to shooters of all skill levels, including new competitors. Most targets will be inside 400 yards, with a few extended targets reaching out to +/- 800 yards. Round count will be 64 rounds maximum. The 16-pound rifle weight limit applies, and although there is no power factor requirement for the one-day games matches, the minimum caliber to shoot for awards will be 25 and may not exceed a 30 caliber and must have a maximum muzzle velocity of 3175 fps (Skills shooters may use 6mm or larger with a maximum muzzle velocity of 3175 fps and the RO's will help you find and range the targets).
First-time competitors: If you’ve never shot a match like this before, we recommend signing up for the Skills Division. You’ll have more fun, learn more, and get a better feel for the match format. The targets will not be painted.. they will be grey and they will be animal shapes. If you shoot Skills the RO will be able to help you find the targets. If you are not in Skills the RO cannot give you as much help. We have great ROs who will be there to help you learn and make the experience enjoyable.
Recommended gear: a shooting bag for props, binoculars and a rangefinder (or a binocular/rangefinder combo), a dope lookup/management system, a backpack, kneepads, and a rifle with an optic that allows you to dial elevation and/or use the reticle to hold over for varying distances.
We will provide water, tents, and fans on site, and a hot lunch will be served. Shooter meeting begins at TBD AM. Please arrive with your rifle zeroed and ready to shoot. We will have a small zero range open the morning of the match at TBD AM if you're traveling and want to verify before the match begins. Trophies will be awarded for 1st through 5th overall (there are no divisions or classes in games matches). New shooters are encouraged to review the NRL Hunter Games rules before attending. This match will be individual only; no teams slots available.

This is suppressor only match. Suppressors that are not intended to be "hearing safe" such as the N3wton Competition, Blueprinted Firearms Edge, Area 419 Maverick (in the short), are not allowed as they do NOT lower the noise level enough. If your suppressor is of the nature of these and you have any doubt that it's quiet enough please contact us before registering. Normal suppressors are allowed to have brakes on them.
We have a limited number loaner rifles available please contact us before registering to reserve one.
Due to parking limitations we are capping the match at 60 shooters. Get registered early if you don't want to miss out!
