White Oak Creek Shooting Range is on the grounds of Lonestar Hunting & Recreation Outdoors…a 3000+ acre working cattle ranch and recreational facility. In addition to hosting a variety of firearms competitions, we offer camping, trails, fishing, hog hunts, and other recreational activities. Mt. Pleasant is in the piney woods section of far Northeast Texas, roughly 2hr from DFW, 1hr south of Oklahoma, and 1hr west of Arkansas. We offer onsite lodging for up to 20 guests in our lodge (A/C, WiFi, Full Kitchen).

The property consists of a combination of heavily wooded areas and wide-open pastures, with the White Oak Creek running through the ranch protected by a multi-mile levy that functions as a backstop for some of our stages as well as a shooting platform for others. Our NRL Hunter matches consist of 18 stages emphasizing use of natural terrain for rifle rests, with target acquisition and improvised shooting positions the focus of the challenge. Targets will be primarily animal shaped and kept in the neighborhood of 2 MOA or larger. Port-a-Johns and water/Gatorade will be placed at every third stage. Hot lunch as a grab-n-go will be provided on Saturday, and a wrap-party with trophies, prize table walks and another hot meal will follow the match on Sunday.

Our Title Sponsor – OUTLIER USA (https://getoutlier.com) will stack the prize table with gear! We’re working with other vendors to put together sponsored side stages and/or additional prize table items as well! The city of Mt. Pleasant is only 10 minutes to the South and features numerous hotels and restaurants for your convenience. The month of May in our area typically sees high temps around 80 degrees and overall pleasant conditions. Rain gear would be a good addition to your pack in case we see some weather move through during the match. We will arrange the course of fire in three clusters of 6 stages. Shooters will shoot 2 clusters on Saturday and a third on Sunday. The hike from the briefing area to the furthest cluster is less than 1/2 mile. ATV shuttles will be provided for you if desired.

No refunds will be available but if you need to sell your slot just keep us in the loop and we can adjust as needed.

RANGE OFFICERS

To help us reward and better secure quality ROs during the 2-day event, vetted individuals will be offered a complimentary match slot for the opportunity to complete all stages in 1-day timeframe (on the RO Shoot Day), for points amongst the other hunters and for prize eligibility. The opportunity at this is set to take place on the competitor Check-in Day.
