The 2026 Battle of Rattlesnake Butte is back and better than ever. Hosted in the high desert and bluffs of Black Forest, CO. this match is located 30 miles East of Castle Rock, Colorado.

The match will be hosted in 100% natural terrain in the canyons and buttes on this epic property. Expect to be challenged on your ability to find targets and navigate Colorado wind. At the end of the match our hope is to provide as true of a Colorado mountain hunting experience for all competitors as possible.

The match will have an 20 stages which would bring the round count to 160-80 rounds depending on your own shooting. Bring additional rounds for DOPE verification, power factor verification, and zeroing as needed. Prepare for target engagements from 300 yards to 950 yards

RANGE OFFICERS

Dedicated ROs are a key component of quality events. All ROs that participate in the match will receive a free match slot to shoot the entire course of fire on Friday, all meals, score included in the final rankings for points, and a walk through the prize table.
