Foundation Hybrid Hunter

Join us at the Foundation Training Range outside Wetumka, Oklahoma for the inaugural Foundation Hybrid Hunter! The venue offers a mix of wooded and open shooting lanes with a balance of organic shooting positions alongside purpose-built shooting positions.

It is often said about our sport that people come for the shooting and stay for the people. We look forward to showing you why that is! Friday will also consist of a vendor day, with product and demos available from companies like SilencerCo, Iray Thermals, Leupold Optics, Armageddon Gear, Vortex Optics, Impact Precision, Stuteville Precision and more! Raffle drawings from many of the vendors will take place during the awards, tickets will be available at the vendor booths.

Weather permitting a STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) with a big tire bush plane will take place on the range Friday.

Following match completion on Saturday, look forward to a feed at the Truitt house coupled with a high stakes cornhole tournament.

Sunday join us for a meal and awards ceremony to celebrate a great weekend of shooting! To be held at the Kialegee Life Center 3 miles south of the range.

Easy access from Oklahoma City International Airport, Tulsa International Airport, and a few hours from Dallas International Airport.

RANGE OFFICERS

The Foundation Hybrid Hunter Match format is going to be a bit different for the Range Officer format. Foundation Stocks and their friends in the industry are putting together an Industry Day for Friday, complete with product gear, demos, STOL plane demo and a live lion. (Okay, there won't be a lion, that was a stretch.) Join us for Vendor Day and get entered to win awesome gear for visiting the booths - we are talking a scope, stock, ammo, trigger, action, rings, ect, ect! 

With Industry Day and corresponding demos and activities, there will be no COF on Friday. Foundation will secure quality RO's for the match and look forward to putting on an awesome event for everybody!

Industry Day!

• 6:15 am: Range Gate Opens

• 7:00 am: Hunter Safety Brief

• 8:00 am: Match begins (10 stages Day 1)

• 11:00 pm: Lunch provided by FatBoy Tripods on course

• 3:00 pm:  Intended time of Day 1 completion (estimate)

• 5:00 pm:  SilencerCo Cornhole Tournament and Hornady Feed at Truitt’s house!

SUNDAY, April 12th 

• 6:45 – 7:15 am: Worship / Devotional

• 7:45: Hunters on Stages

• 8:00 am: Rounds down range. (8 Stages Day 2)

• 1:30PM: Intended time of Day 2 completion (this will vary)

• 2:30PM: Lunch/Awards at the Kialegee Life Center - 100 Kialegee Drive Wetumka, OK 74883 (It is just 3.25 miles south on Hwy 27 from the Foundation Training Range.)

Foundation Training Range Coordinates and Direction; 35.29094° N, 96.28572* W

4 miles north of highway 9 and 27 intersection. County road EW 1190 is on west side of

the road. If you are coming from I-40 the range is 9 miles south on Hwy 27 from the

Okemah/Wetumka exit off 1-40. You will go west on County Road EW 1190 and the

range is the first right that you can take.

Maps will sometimes be off! If you are coming from the range, go south on HWY 27 3

miles to county road 122. Head west and the Truitt house is the first one on the

north side – windmill and shops!

• **If you are coming from I-40 - take the Okemah/Wetumka exit (HWY 27) Go

south on 27 about 12 miles until you reach county road 122 (bottom of big hill.)

You will go west 1/8th of a mile. House is on the north side – windmill and shops!

PROMOTION: Every competitor will be entered into a drawing for a Foundation Hybrid Hunting Stock.

TRAVEL

AIRPORT

Both Oklahoma City and Tulsa are easy fly in locations and approx. 1:30 from range. For the fewest turns OKC is your best bet.

LODGING

Best Western in Wewoka, OK is closest / nice hotel (13 miles).

A bit further puts you in Seminole, OK (26 miles) with several options 

Shawnee, OK with (38 miles) gives you a large number of options.

Stay as close as you can to enjoy the after-match activities!

CAMPING

Onsite Camping: We will have camping areas available for tents, Campers but will have no hookups.
