Little Hunt on the Prairie

Upper Iowa Precision Rifle club is offering a unique venue, from rolling hills , and grassy plains , to farm fields, pastures and creek bottoms . This venue will be fun for new shooters, while still providing a challenge for veteran shooters . Targets will vary from 100-800 yards over two ranges. Please bring a snack for Sunday if needed. Water and Gatorade will be provided on the stages . Come join us for a fun filled action packed weekend in Decorah , Iowa.

SAFETY

Chamber flags will be required. We are working around other properties with active dwellings. More safety details will be covered in the shooters meeting. The shooters meeting is required. If you are not at the shooters meeting, you will not shoot the match unless you have made arrangements with a match director.

RANGE OFFICERS

To help us reward and better secure quality ROs during the 2-day event, vetted individuals will be offered a complimentary match slot for the opportunity to complete all stages in 1-day timeframe (on the RO Shoot Day), for points amongst the other hunters and for prize eligibility. The opportunity at this is set to take place on the competitor Check-in Day.

07:30 – Move to ranges A and B
08:30 – Range goes hot
12:00 – Lunch provided on the ranges by Twin Spring Upper Club while maintaining match flow .
14:30 – Intended conclusion of day one
15:00 – Cornhole tournament at Chase the adventure .

Sunday May 17th

07:30 – Hunters on stages
08:00 – Range goes hot
14:00 – Conclusion of day 2
14:30 – Meal and awards at Chase the Adventure
